Strange Pagan Trees and Misplaced Birthdays
So the year is half over, and there isn't as much Obvianated action as we'd hoped, not to say nothings happening, there'll be more shows before the end of the year, and there's most definitely new material being written and performed. The next EP is being bounced around a few little studios in disguise as bedrooms, iPhones and pubs.
Nathan, meanwhile is still going around plying his trade as an illustrator for hire. You should hire him.
...Meanwhile,
in the inner suburbs of Melbourne
Obvian
is the musical brainworm of Nathan Davis, and he never is able to adequately describe it. The most accurate attempt would be to say it's a (fairly) quiet, (usually) mellow and (kind of) loving project, reminiscing about 90's indie guitar ballads while singing about girls.

Eronauts
is now available, and is best
described as a being about the shores, tides and open seas of
human relations. Nathan is joined for three of the tracks by Tim Woods
on the bass and Adam Duffy on the drums, who have done an amazing job
of filling out the landscape that the world of Obvian sits in. All this
deftly recorded by Richard Burleigh.
